Try recreating the Outlook profile. This solved the issue for me!
Step 1: Open the Mail Setup
Since you can't always do this from inside a glitchy Outlook app, we’ll use the Control Panel.
Close Outlook completely.
Open your Start Menu, type Control Panel, and open it.
In the search bar at the top right of the Control Panel, type Mail.
Click on Mail (Microsoft Outlook).
Step 2: Create the New Profile
In the window that pops up, click the Show Profiles... button.
Click Add.
Type a name for your new profile (e.g., "New Outlook 2026") and click OK.
- Follow the prompts to enter your name, email address, and password. Outlook will attempt to find your mail server settings automatically.
