unable to sign in to minecraft with minecraft launcher

Question

I get the message:
"You've tried to sign in too many times with an incorrect account or password."

1. I can sign into the minecraft portal with the same credentials
2. I have uninstalled and installed the game several times

Windows 10

1. I can not upgrade my system, if support is terminated I would like to take steps to be issued a refund.

It seems to be a credentials cache issue on your case. Before we proceed, may I know if you have the same issue log in to any other Microsoft apps or games?

In the meantime, please try this quick fix.

• Type "Credentials Manager" in the search bar and press Enter.
• Find and remove any entries related to your account, Minecraft or Xbox.
• Restart the game and try to log in again.
