Trophy access for the “Create and run simple C# console applications (Get started with C#, Part 2)” content is controlled by Microsoft Learn’s completion status, not by System Center Operations Manager.
Based on similar reported issues, completion on freeCodeCamp alone might not fully register on the Microsoft Learn side. The recommended workaround is:
- Sign in to the same Microsoft Learn account that is linked to freeCodeCamp.
- Open the corresponding Learn content and modules directly:
- Learning path: Create and run simple C# console applications (Get started with C#, Part 2)
- Ensure each module in that path shows as completed in Learn:
- Install and configure Visual Studio Code
- Call methods from the .NET Class Library using C#
- Add decision logic to your code using
if,else, andelse ifstatements in C# - Store and iterate through sequences of data using Arrays and the foreach statement in C#
- Create readable code with conventions, whitespace, and comments in C#
- Guided project - Develop foreach and if-elseif-else structures to process array data in C#
- Challenge project - Develop foreach and if-elseif-else structures to process array data in C#
- For any module that does not show as completed, open it and:
- Step through the units (Introduction, exercises, summary, etc.).
- Run the Module assessment and ensure it is passed.
- After all modules in the learning path show as completed on Microsoft Learn, wait a short time and then check the trophy again.
A prior affected user resolved the same “has not earned this trophy” message by explicitly completing any missing steps on the Microsoft Learn side, even though everything had already been done on freeCodeCamp.
If all modules and assessments in the learning path show as completed in Microsoft Learn and the trophy still does not unlock after some time, contact Microsoft Learn support via the training support portal so the Learn team can correct the completion state on the account.
