Using the media usb tool, I got as far as "Accept" but instead of continuing with installation it returned this message:

Hi,
To reinstall Windows 11, you may use Settings. Launch Settings > System > Recovery. Under "Fix problems using Windows Update", select Reinstall now.
This does a repair installation, keeping your files, apps, and settings.

Let me know if that helps. Another method to repair install Windows 11 is using the official ISO, which you can download from the Microsoft website → https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11
Thanks for responding. I cannot access settings. I click on the Settings icon and nothing happens. This is one of many problems that has led me to reinstalling win11. Is there a keyboard shortcut to launch settings besides the icon?
Please see if you can create a new local admin account and access Settings from that account.
To create a new local admin account, open admin Command Prompt and use the following command-line syntax:
net user USERNAME PASSWORD /add
net localgroup administrators USERNAME /add
(Note: Replace the placeholder text USERNAME and PASSWORD with the new user name and password, respectively.)
Login to the newly created account and access Settings.
