Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
Dear @GDstem,
I am sorry to hear that you are unable to access your Visio account. I understand how important it is to have your diagramming tools available for your work.
To help me narrow down the cause of this login failure and provide the correct solution, could you please clarify which type of account and version you are using?
Please confirm if you are signing in with a Work or School Account: (e.g., @yourcompany.com or @youruniversity.edu)
Are you trying to access Visio Plan 1 (Web version only) or Visio Plan 2 (Desktop application)? If you are using the web version, please try logging in through a Private/Incognito browser window at visio.office.com to rule out browser cache issues.
If you are receiving a specific error, such as "Account does not exist" or "You don't have a license assigned," please let me know.
For Work Accounts: If the error says you lack a license, I recommend contacting your IT Administrator. They must assign a Visio license to your user profile in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center before you can sign in.
As an immediate test, please try to sign in to the general Microsoft 365 portal at My Apps. If you can log in there but still cannot open Visio, the issue is likely related specifically to your Visio license assignment rather than your account credentials.
I look forward to your reply so I can help you resolve this quickly.
