Approx 1hr ago I paid for $3 basic storage increase & have received confirmation of payment for my outlook hotmail account However I can not send emails.

Please let me know when my account will be ok to send emails.

I could not send emails as it said that I was out of space.

However I have just bought more space. I paid $3 basic subscription. The payment was accepted but I still cannot get into my account.

I need this issue resolved.

On the chat message it said that even if the subscription is paid & the space is increased that it may be delayed before it becomes available again.

Is this correct?

I read somewhere that it may take 24 to 48 hrs before the update occurs & I can use my email again - is this correct?

    If you exceed your OneDrive storage limit, your account will be placed in a frozen state. To unfreeze, you will need to upgrade your Storage or delete some files from it. So,

    If you upgrade your storage or free up space, it usually takes 2–4 hours for the change to be reflected in your account. In some cases, it can take up to 24 hours before you can start sending and receiving new emails again.
