Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Microsoft 365 subscriptions are offered in different tiers and prices, so moving to a cheaper plan is possible if a lower-cost option meets the needed features.
To look for a cheaper pack and compare options:
- Review available Microsoft 365 plans and prices for personal or business use using the comparison pages listed under Microsoft 365 subscriptions (for example, Microsoft 365 Basic, Personal, Family, or business plans). These pages show current pricing and included services so a lower-cost option can be selected if it fits the requirements.
- If the subscription was purchased directly from Microsoft, sign in to the Microsoft account used for the subscription and go to the Services & subscriptions area to see the current plan and available downgrade/upgrade options.
- If the subscription was purchased through a reseller, mobile operator, or employer, contact that provider or administrator to ask about changing to a lower-cost plan.
If the goal is simply to reduce cost and fewer features are acceptable (for example, less OneDrive storage or fewer installed Office apps), moving from a higher tier to a lower tier (such as from a full Microsoft 365 plan to Microsoft 365 Basic or another entry-level offer) is typically the way to reduce the monthly price.
