Unable to install the update

Hello I have been trying to download and update the update shown in the picture, but it is not working.

It's an optional update and can be ignored.

Use the following steps to troubleshoot the failed Windows Update driver installation on Windows 11:

1. Run the built‑in Windows Update repair
   • Open Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
   • Run Windows Update troubleshooter and apply any fixes it suggests.
2. Clean up the Windows Update component store
   • Select Start, type cmd.
   • Right‑click Command Prompt > Run as administrator.
   • Approve the UAC prompt.
   • Run:

          dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup
     

   • Wait for the command to complete, then restart the PC.
   • Go back to Settings > Windows Update > Advanced options > Optional updates and try the HP driver update again.
3. If the update still fails, temporarily skip this optional driver
   • Optional OEM driver updates are not required for Windows to function.
   • If the system is working correctly, leave this driver unchecked and rely on HP’s Support Assistant or HP’s website for any necessary driver updates.

If Windows Update in general starts failing with errors such as 0x80073701 or 0x800f0988, repeat step 2 and then try updating again.
