How to transfer Office 365 from old dead PC to a new PC

My old PC has finally died. Bought a New PC and would like to install my licensed copy of Office 365 to the new PC. What is the best way to do that? Before that PC died, I did do a backup but I guess it would have been better if I did a clone.

    Hello !

To install Microsoft 365 on your new PC, go to https://account.microsoft.com/services and locate your Microsoft 365 subscription.

If you have a recurring subscription to Microsoft 365, it will be at the top of the page. Just click on "Install desktop versions of Microsoft 365" and follow the steps to install Office. You'll download an .exe file, launch it and wait for the installation.

Launch Office, and log into your Microsoft account to link your subscription to your Office installation. You should be good to go !

If you have a one-time purchase of Office, it's the same process, but the installation button for Office will be located at the bottom of the page.

Please let me know if you have any other question !
