    Hi ,

If it is a laptop or desktop, if possible, could you provide the laptop model or your desktop configuration?

Access the c:\windows\minidump folder, copy the files to your desktop, then upload them to OneDrive or Google Drive and post the link here for analysis.

    Thanks

Unexpected restarts while gaming are typically caused by hardware, drivers, or system errors rather than the game itself.

    Start with basic Windows troubleshooting:

    1. Remove or disconnect any recently added hardware
      • Shut down the PC and unplug any new USB devices, external drives, or other peripherals that were added around the time the issue started.
    2. Boot into Safe Mode and observe behavior
      • Start Windows 11 in Safe Mode as described in Start your PC in safe mode in Windows 10 (steps are similar for Windows 11).
      • Games will not run normally in Safe Mode, but use this mode to perform the checks below (drivers, updates, disk space).
    3. Check Device Manager for driver issues
      • Right-click StartDevice Manager.
      • Look for any devices with a yellow exclamation mark (!).
      • For each such device: right-click → Update driver.
      • If updating does not help, temporarily Disable or Uninstall the problematic device and test again.
    4. Ensure enough free disk space
      • Make sure the system drive (usually C:) has at least 10–15% free space so Windows can create swap files and dumps.
    5. Install all latest Windows updates
      • Go to StartSettingsUpdate & SecurityWindows UpdateCheck for updates.
      • Install everything offered, including optional quality and driver updates if available.
    6. Check for blue screen/stop code or Event ID 41
      • If the restart is actually a crash, Windows may briefly show a blue screen like “Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart.”
      • After a restart, open Event Viewer and check under Windows Logs → System for Event ID 41 (“The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first”).
      • This indicates an unexpected shutdown, often due to power, hardware, or a Stop error.
    7. Hardware-focused checks (if restarts continue)
      • Disable any CPU/GPU overclocking in BIOS or vendor tools.
      • Check system temperatures and fans for overheating while playing.
      • Verify the power supply is sufficient for the GPU/CPU used by games.
      • If the system is a VM or part of a more complex setup, ensure no host or management software is forcing restarts.
    8. If nothing helps, use a recovery option
      • As a last step, use Settings → System → Recovery and choose a recovery option (such as System Restore or Reset this PC) that best matches the situation, as described in the Windows recovery options article.

If comfortable with advanced diagnostics, use the “Advanced troubleshooting steps for Windows blue screens and stop code errors” from the blue screen troubleshooting documentation to analyze bug checks and dumps.
