View -> Watch Window used to stay on top. Something (or I) changed something. Now when I open it it goes to maximize size

    Hi KruppClerk

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Could you please confirm whether the Watch Window appears similar to the screenshot below?

    User's image

If so, it is likely that the window has been docked to the editor workspace. The VBA editor can remember the layout and size of tool windows from the previous session, so the Watch Window may reopen in the same docked or expanded state.

Have you tried the following steps?

    -Open the Watch Window.

-Click and hold the title bar of the Watch Window.

-Drag it away from the edge of the editor to undock it.

-Resize it to the desired size.

-Close the window and open it again from View > Watch Window to see if the new layout is retained.

If the behavior is different from the screenshot, or if the issue still persists after trying the steps above, could you please share a screenshot of what you are seeing and confirm which version of Microsoft Access you are using? If possible, please send the screenshot via private message to help protect your personal or organizational information. This will help me better understand the situation and provide more accurate guidance.

I look forward to your update.
