Creating new Azure account to fix error AADSTS5000225

Hello,

I have the same issue as this user here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/5777548/how-to-fix-this-error-aadsts5000225. The solution here was to DM a support admin, so I presume that's the answer for me as well.

I am trying to start using Azure, but apparently the account that I created a while ago is blocking me from proceeding. I tried to create a new account using azure.microsoft.com/free, but after going through creation, I am redirected back to the "Sign-in failed" page. I should be the global admin tenant if I understand this correctly; however, I have no power to access my account or create a new one. Would you please help me create a new account?

Thanks for your help,
Matthew

P.S. I tried calling the support numbers from https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/customer-service-phone-numbers-c0389ade-5640-e588-8b0e-28de8afeb3f2; however, after the first AI chat agent wasn't able to understand my needs, any subsequent calls were automatically rejected.

    Hello Matthew Woo,

This issue will be resolved by signing in using the tenant-specific Azure portal URL and the tenant ID I have provided over the private messages tab:

    https://portal.azure.com/<tenant-ID>

(Note: Please check Private messages tab where I shared your tenant ID)

Once you accessed the portal through the tenant-scoped URL, the tenant became active again and you will be able to manage resources without further issues.

And the tenant will be restored successfully.
