Error code: AADSTS5000225 -- Tenant access is blocked, cannot access or delete & recreate

Steps tried.

  1. Login to portal.azure.com as administrator.
  2. Click Microsoft Entra ID.
  3. Click Manage tenants.
  4. Click target tenant.

Error:

  1. Login to entra.microsoft.com as administrator.

Error:

Sign-in failed

Error code: interaction_required

  1. Login to portal.azure.com as administrator.

  4. Select target tenant and click Delete.

I contacted Microsoft about this issue in October via service request #7089311480. The issue is marked "resolved" without any resolution.

After six months of trying to resolve I added a paid Developer support plan to my Azure account, but upon trying to open a ticket I am redirected here.

I am aware of this link, so no error explanation is required. As I have been trying to get this resolved for over half a year I assume it is too late to restore. So if the tenant cannot be restored, then please allow me to delete it so that I can recreate it. I will not be able to call a phone number as I am mute. I require an email address.

    To reactivate your tenant, I forwarded it to the engineering team, and they have now reactivated your tenant. Could you please try signing in and let me know if you need any additional information or further assistance?
