Outlook synching issue with GMail

I cannot send or receive emails. There are synching issues with Outlook and Gmail. Outlook cannot connect to the server.

I have followed the instructions for Outlook sync issues with Gmail Account. I still cannot send or receive emails.

Please assist me with a resolution.

    Hi Donna, this is a widely reported problem at the moment, Microsoft have confirmed they are currently working on a fix to resolve the problem and they will push out a patch as soon as possible to resolve this.

    In the meantime, if you are experiencing the problem with Outlook Classic, try accessing your Gmail account using Outlook in a web browser.
