Word/Microsoft Programme

I had word on here, my own but I tried to log into my work one, to access my emails on there, but now I cannot get back to my own word nor did I manage to log into my work one. I do no not remember what I used to create the word or Microsoft account. I still have the card with the number but I don't remember anything else. I don't want to have to pay out for another programme especially as the renewal fee comes out yearly automatically. The only email address I ever use is my old aol one. I would love to actually speak to a human about this and not an automated answer, which I find totally unhelpful and frankly, frustrating!

    Good morning, Denise.

Since you stated that the only personal email you have been using is an aol one, did you search through your aol mailbox to see if you have any email from Microsoft? That should give you a hint on how to get back into your personal Office.

    The other option is to:

    • from any office app (e.g. Word) go to File -> Account
    • Right under where it shows you the icons for Word, Excel, etc, look for a button that says "Switch Licence" (see image below).

That could take you back to your personal account.

    Hope this helps,

    Francesco
