How many email addresses can keep online for Outlook? (Office 365 1-person Plan)

Hi there,

Just wanted to ask: if I subscribe Office365 (1-person) plan for MacOS, how many email address account can be added into my outlook?

Now I have about 10 email addresses: outlook, gmail.

If I subscribe the personal plan (1 person, not 2-5 persons), can all the 10 email addresses keep online and active in the outlook?

Hello,

Yes, you can. Microsoft 365 Personal (for one user) usually doesn’t restrict you to only a few email accounts in Outlook. You currently have about 10 mailboxes, including Outlook and Gmail, and under normal circumstances they can all be added to Outlook for unified sending and receiving.

Whether they stay online depends mainly on the email service itself and your sync settings. Outlook can manage multiple accounts from different providers, but for Gmail and similar services, you typically need to enable IMAP first, and in some cases use two-step verification or an app-specific password. In other words, the key issue isn’t “whether the Personal plan allows 10 accounts,” but whether each mailbox can connect properly.

A Microsoft 365 Personal (1-person) subscription does not limit how many email accounts can be added to Outlook. The subscription mainly affects storage, features, and device usage, not the number of mailboxes configured in the Outlook app.

However, the Outlook apps themselves can have limits:

• On Outlook for Android and iOS, there is a limit of 15 non-Microsoft Sync Technology-based mail accounts that can be added. Drive/storage accounts (OneDrive, Box, etc.) are unlimited. Ten email addresses (Outlook, Gmail, etc.) are within this limit.
• For Outlook for Windows, the documentation describes how to add accounts but does not state a specific numeric limit in this context. Multiple accounts (including Outlook.com, Microsoft 365 work/school, Gmail, Yahoo, iCloud, and Exchange) can be added and used.

So with Microsoft 365 Personal, all 10 existing email addresses can remain online and active in Outlook, including on mobile, as they are below the documented mobile app limit.
