I can't access latest functionality such as CoPilot in Outlook

Hi,
I've noticed that my Outlook desktop app (both Classic and new) don't have standard CoPilot functionality. I have an Office 365 personal subscription so it comes with CoPilot. CoPilot works as an add-in on Edge, PPT, Word, Excel etc. but not in Outlook

I've tried speaking to multiple support agents, de-installed and re-installed Office 365 but nothing works. At one point it asked me to create an Outlook email alias, which I did.

Since I've done that, when I try to open the Outlook app in my web browser, the only email it lets me see is my Outlook alias. Ironically this shows the full functionality I've been trying to get (includes CoPilot etc.). My desktop app remains unchanged; really out of date functionality e.g. no access to 'To Do' for task management, no CoPilot etc.

I've spent hours trying to fix this but getting nowhere and keep getting passed around from agent to agent for support. Please can someone help?
