For exam interruptions caused by internet connectivity or equipment failure, a waiver of the retake waiting period can be requested, but only under specific conditions.
Based on the documented policy:
- If an exam is impacted by internet connectivity or equipment failure and a Pearson VUE case is created (as in Case No. #36243467), a waiver of the standard waiting period between attempts may be requested.
- Waivers are granted only for connectivity or equipment issues, not for other reasons. The request must include the Pearson VUE case number so eligibility can be confirmed.
- To request this waiver or further assistance with the GH-300 exam attempt, contact Training, Certification, and Program Support using the official channel at Training, Certification, and Program Support (microsoft.com) and provide:
- Exam details (GH-300, date/time of the attempt).
- Pearson VUE Case No. #36243467.
- Description of the connectivity issue and timeline.
- If the issue relates to rescheduling or if additional help is needed from Pearson VUE (for example, around the cancellation itself), contact Pearson VUE Customer Support via Customer service :: Microsoft :: Pearson VUE.
- The general retake policy still applies:
- After a first failed attempt, there is normally a 24-hour wait before retaking.
- A 14-day waiting period is imposed between subsequent attempts (up to five in a 12‑month period).
- A passed exam cannot be retaken unless the certification has expired.
- Payment is required for retakes unless a voucher or exception is provided.
For review of session logs/recordings, retake vouchers, or fee waivers, only Microsoft Credentials support and Pearson VUE can investigate the case details and make a determination. Use the support links above and include all relevant information already outlined.
