I am writing to request your assistance regarding my GH-300 exam that

was scheduled on 10 March 2026 at 11:15 PM IST.

I successfully checked in and began the exam on time, and everything was proceeding normally. However, after approximately 40 minutes into the exam, I experienced an unexpected internet connectivity issue, which caused a temporary disconnection from the exam session. I immediately worked to restore the connection and was able to rejoin within 3–4 minutes.

After reconnecting, I was informed that the exam had been cancelled by the proctor. I immediately contacted the Pearson VUE Support team, and a case was registered with Case No. #36243467.

During the discussion, I was informed that the cancellation was due to the observation that I was looking elsewhere during the exam. I would like to respectfully clarify that I have always followed the exam rules and best practices while taking certification exams. When the internet connectivity issue occurred, I was attempting to check and restore my network connection so that I could rejoin the exam as quickly as possible. It is possible that while trying to resolve the connectivity issue, I briefly looked away from the screen to verify the connection. At that time, the screen had also frozen due to the network interruption. I believe this situation may have been misunderstood, and the connectivity issue and screen freeze may not have been fully considered.

I had already completed around 40 minutes of the exam without any warnings or issues from the proctor, and I was fully committed to following all exam policies.

Additionally, the exam voucher used for this attempt was provided through my company, and I am currently unable to purchase another exam attempt personally.

Considering the unexpected technical issue and the circumstances explained above, I kindly request that the session logs or recordings be reviewed. I would sincerely appreciate your support in providing a retake voucher or allowing me to reschedule the exam without additional charges.

Thank you for your time and understanding. I look forward to your response.

For exam interruptions caused by internet connectivity or equipment failure, a waiver of the retake waiting period can be requested, but only under specific conditions.

    Based on the documented policy:

    1. If an exam is impacted by internet connectivity or equipment failure and a Pearson VUE case is created (as in Case No. #36243467), a waiver of the standard waiting period between attempts may be requested.
    2. Waivers are granted only for connectivity or equipment issues, not for other reasons. The request must include the Pearson VUE case number so eligibility can be confirmed.
    3. To request this waiver or further assistance with the GH-300 exam attempt, contact Training, Certification, and Program Support using the official channel at Training, Certification, and Program Support (microsoft.com) and provide:
      • Exam details (GH-300, date/time of the attempt).
      • Pearson VUE Case No. #36243467.
      • Description of the connectivity issue and timeline.
    4. If the issue relates to rescheduling or if additional help is needed from Pearson VUE (for example, around the cancellation itself), contact Pearson VUE Customer Support via Customer service :: Microsoft :: Pearson VUE.
    5. The general retake policy still applies:
      • After a first failed attempt, there is normally a 24-hour wait before retaking.
      • A 14-day waiting period is imposed between subsequent attempts (up to five in a 12‑month period).
      • A passed exam cannot be retaken unless the certification has expired.
      • Payment is required for retakes unless a voucher or exception is provided.

For review of session logs/recordings, retake vouchers, or fee waivers, only Microsoft Credentials support and Pearson VUE can investigate the case details and make a determination. Use the support links above and include all relevant information already outlined.
