To recover access to the AZ-900 certification and download the certificate, the Microsoft Credentials Support team must assist, because the original email address used for the exam is no longer available.
Follow these steps:
- Try signing in with possible accounts
- Go to the Microsoft Learn profile sign-in page: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/users/me
- Sign in with any personal Microsoft accounts that might have been used in 2022.
- After signing in, open the profile menu → Credentials → Certifications and check if AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals appears. If it does, open View certification details and use Print to download/print the certificate.
- If the certification is not visible or the email cannot be identified
- Open the Microsoft Credentials Support portal: https://aka.ms/credentialssupport
- Sign in with a current Microsoft account that can be used going forward.
- Complete the contact information and submit a support request under:
- Product Family: Learning
- Service: Microsoft Credentials
- In the description, provide:
- Full name used during the exam
- Exam name and code: AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
- Approximate exam date (year 2022 and month if known)
- Any possible email addresses that might have been used
- The Credentials Support team can look up the historical certification record and help associate it with the current Microsoft account so the certificate becomes visible again.
- Download/print the certificate once the record is fixed
- After support confirms the merge or update, sign in to Microsoft Learn with the account they specify.
- Go to Profile → Credentials → Certifications → View certification details → Print to download or print the AZ-900 certificate.
If the certification still does not appear after following these steps, continue working with Microsoft Credentials Support, as only they can correct account mappings and recover old certification IDs.
