I need a human to help me

I’m trying to recover an old Microsoft account that’s very important to me. I no longer have access to the phone number that was linked to it, and I tried the normal password reset and recovery options many times without success.

Please help, it's a 15 years old email and I need it

    Hi,

When was the last time you successfully logged in to this old email account?

Direct human-assisted recovery outside the documented process is not possible. Only the official Microsoft account recovery and support channels can help.

    Follow these steps, in order:

    1. Try the Sign-in Helper and standard recovery
      • Go to the Sign-in Helper tool: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2214157
      • If the password is wrong or stopped working, follow: Recover your account at https://account.live.com/password/reset (linked from “My username and password have stopped working”).
      • If the username/email is not recognized, carefully check spelling and domain (.com, .co.uk, etc.) and, if needed, try any other alias or phone number that might be on the account.
    2. If normal reset options fail, use the Microsoft account recovery form (ACSR)
      • Before filling it out, review the guidance in Help with the Microsoft account recovery form.
      • Ensure there is a working email address (any account you can access) where Microsoft can contact you. If needed, create a temporary Outlook.com account from the Microsoft account sign-in page.
      • Then open the Account recovery form: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2288285
      • Complete it from a device and location you used before with that account (home/office) to improve recognition.
      • Provide as many accurate details as possible (previous passwords, contacts, subject lines, folder names, etc.). Microsoft will review and respond, typically within 24 hours.
    3. Important limitations
      • If two-step verification was turned on and none of the verification methods (phone, email, authenticator) are accessible, support agents are not allowed to bypass security, send reset links, or change account details. In that case, recovery is only possible if the form proves ownership; otherwise, the account cannot be restored.
      • If the account has not been signed into for more than two years, it may have been deleted and cannot be reopened.
    4. If still locked out after the form
      • You can submit the recovery form again (with improved answers) as allowed.
      • For additional help with the process (not to bypass it), contact Microsoft Support:
        • Go to the Contact support experience (for example, via “Contact support” referenced in the docs) and choose a product like Microsoft account or Manage Account Security.
        • Use chat or callback if offered in your region and explain that the username/password have stopped working and that the recovery form has already been tried.

These are the only supported ways to attempt recovery of an old Microsoft/Outlook.com account.
