Hello, since the update for certificates are coming soon and certificate that I scheduled exam for is being retired (AZ-204), is it possible to change exam to AI-200 and re-use already paid slot?

AZ-204 is currently scheduled to retire on July 31, 2026. Until an exam reaches its retirement date, it remains available and valid to take.

The provided information does not describe any process that allows converting an already scheduled and paid exam appointment for one exam (such as AZ-204) into a different exam (such as AI-200) while reusing the same payment. Exam reschedule and cancellation guidance in the context only covers changing or cancelling the appointment for the same exam, not switching to a different exam.

To change to a different exam, the standard approach is to cancel or reschedule via the certification dashboard or Pearson VUE support and then schedule the desired exam separately, following the applicable payment and policy rules.
