Cancellation and refund of a Microsoft Copilot Pro (or Microsoft 365 Copilot) subscription must be done through the account’s Services & subscriptions page; cancellation cannot be completed from here.
To cancel the Copilot subscription:
- Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services and sign in with the same Microsoft account used to purchase the subscription.
- Under Services & subscriptions, locate the Copilot Pro or Microsoft 365 subscription that includes Copilot and select Manage.
- On the subscription page, select Cancel and follow the on-screen steps to complete cancellation.
- If instead of Manage the page shows Turn on recurring billing, the subscription is already set to expire on the listed date and will not renew; no further action is required.
Refund eligibility for Copilot Pro:
- For customers in Canada, Denmark, Faroe Islands, France, French Guiana, French Polynesia, Greenland, Guadeloupe, Israel, Korea, Martinique, Mayotte, New Caledonia, Réunion, St. Pierre & Miquelon, Turkey, Wallis & Futuna: a prorated refund is available at any time after cancellation. See the “countries with prorated refunds” article linked in the refund window table for details.
- For all other countries/regions: to receive a prorated refund, cancellation must occur within 14 days of the initial purchase.
If the subscription was purchased through Google Play or the Apple App Store, cancellation and any refund request must be handled through those stores’ support channels, not through the Microsoft account portal.
If cancellation cannot be completed using the steps above or if a refund is expected but not shown during cancellation, use the Contact Support option described in the refund article to work directly with Microsoft Support, who can access the account and confirm status, eligibility, and next steps.
