Support is English-only.
For a Minecraft Realms subscription that was renewed but the server shows as expired and will not open, the subscription and billing status in the Microsoft account must be checked, and then Mojang/Minecraft support contacted if the realm is still not active.
- Sign in to the Microsoft account used to pay for Realms and confirm the subscription and payment status under Services & subscriptions. If there is any overdue amount or payment issue, Realms may not reactivate correctly.
- If the subscription shows as active and paid, but the Realm is still expired or unavailable, contact official support (Minecraft/Mojang or Microsoft account billing support) with the order details so they can correct the Realms entitlement on the server side.
- Be aware that Realms is a separate subscription from Game Pass. If Realms was previously tied to a different account or subscription, ensure the correct account is being used.
- If the Realms subscription remains inactive for more than 18 months, Realms data can be deleted from the server; in that case, a new Realm may need to be created even if billing is working.
