I saw a $108 charge on my credit card from Microsoft but I can't track down what that is for.

This forum is just a user to user forum, no-one here has any account access, using any Microsoft account you may have, try using the steps they provide on this link to find out what that payment was for.

Then use the steps they provide on this link to cancel whatever that payment was for and get a refund.

Use the Microsoft account tools to identify the charge and then decide whether to cancel or request a refund.

    1. Investigate the specific charge
      • Go to the Manage your payments page of the Microsoft account dashboard and select "Investigate" for the relevant payment method: Manage your payments.
      • This will help determine if the $108 is from:
        • A Microsoft 365 or other subscription with recurring billing enabled.
        • A purchase made by a family member using the same card.
        • A previously declined charge that was processed later.
        • A pre-order or split order that has just shipped.
        • An in-app purchase from an app or game.
      • For more detail on this process, see How to investigate a billing charge from Microsoft.
    2. Check order and subscription history
      • Sign in at account.microsoft.com/billing.
      • Select Payment & billing > Order history, then refine by date range around when the $108 charge occurred.
      • Look for any orders with Completed or Redeemed status that match $108.
      • Also check Subscriptions at account.microsoft.com/services to see if a Microsoft 365 or other subscription with recurring billing matches that amount.
    3. If the charge is unexpected or unauthorized
      • If the charge is an accidental or unauthorized purchase, follow the guidance in Returning items you bought from Microsoft for exchange or refund to request a refund.
      • If there is concern the account was used without permission, follow the steps in How to help keep your Microsoft account safe and secure and, if needed, How to recover a hacked or compromised Microsoft account (both linked from the Microsoft account help page).
    4. If charges continue after cancellation
      • If a subscription was previously cancelled but charges are still appearing, verify:
        • The cancellation was done more than 2 days before the billing date.
        • The correct Microsoft account was used.
      • See Why am I still being charged after cancelling my Microsoft subscription? for details.

If the charge cannot be matched to any order or subscription after using the Investigate tool and checking order history, contact Microsoft Support via the Microsoft account/billing help pages, or work with the bank/credit card provider to dispute the transaction as potentially fraudulent.
