Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hello chris martin,
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum!
I understand that you are having issue with subscription and refund. I truly understand how you feel. Let me assist you further.
It can't be converted or retroactively discount an already‑renewed Microsoft 365 Personal/Family subscription into a Student/Education plan. Education plans are separate products (Microsoft 365 Education A1/A3/A5 or the student free offer) and cannot be applied as a price difference refund to a personal subscription.
If you are looking for refunding, I suggest you contact the Microsoft Customer Service team directly for the best assistance. Please understand for me that I would like to help you. But this community is a user-to-user forum, and I don't have access to the user's data and I'm not authorized to do so.
