Try these checks and recovery steps in order:

    1. Check other folders and filters
      • Look in Junk Email, Deleted Items, Archive, and any custom folders in case rules or actions moved the messages.
      • In Outlook.com or Outlook on the web, select Filter above the message list and choose All so nothing is hidden by filtering.
      • If Focused Inbox is enabled, check both Focused and Other tabs. If messages are on Other, select one and choose Move to > Move to Focused inbox.
    2. Check Deleted Items and recover
      • Open the Deleted Items folder and look for the missing messages. If found, select them and choose Restore (or Move to folder > Inbox in mobile apps).
      • If not visible there, at the top of the Deleted Items list select Recover items deleted from this folder.
      • In the Recoverable Items view, select the messages and choose Restore. They will go back to their original folders (or Inbox if the original folder no longer exists).
    3. Check Junk Email
      • Open the Junk Email folder and look for the messages.
      • If found, select them and choose Not junk > Not junk (or Move to Inbox on mobile) so future messages from those senders are not treated as junk.
    4. Check rules and Archive
      • In Outlook.com, open Rules settings and review Inbox and Sweep rules. Edit or delete any rule that moves or deletes new mail incorrectly.
      • Check the Archive folder; if messages are there, select them and choose Move to > Inbox.
    5. If using Outlook desktop in Cached mode
      • If messages appear in Outlook Web/OWA but not in the Outlook desktop Inbox, they may be stuck in the local cache.
      • Close Outlook.
      • Run Outlook.exe /cleanips from Start > Run to clear the incoming item processing pipeline.
      • If still missing, in Outlook desktop: right‑click Inbox > Properties > General > Clear Offline Items > OK, then with Inbox selected press Shift+F9 to force resync.

If none of these steps show or recover the emails, they may have been permanently removed and not be recoverable.
