I am unable to edit any document in MS word.

I am unable to edit any document in MS word. I have: uninstalled and reinstalled Word
I have Read and Write privileges
Using the Tools tab in the document I am trying to edit "Protect document for" is unticked
I have tried:
- signing out of Microsoft and signing in again
- Resetting Word to factory settings

Can I get a bit more information like is there any error message that appear when you attempt to edit the document? Are we talking about ALL documents are affected or just selected documents. Can you confirm if ALL are affected or just a specific document only?
