My One Drive and copilot won't sign in on my Samsung laptop. It gives an error message saying 'it doesn't look like you are connected to the internet, check your connection and try again, error code 0x800704cf. I am connected to the internet and have other internet functions running on laptop and other devices. I can sign on to OneDrive through my browser fine. I've tried various recommendations I've seen online but nothing working. It was all working fine this morning, and I didn't log out of anything. What can I do?

    Hi Lowri,

People have reported success with the following solution - kindly let me know if it works.

    • Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog.

    • Type services.msc and press Enter.

    • Locate Microsoft Account Sign-in Assistant in the list, right-click it, and select Restart.

    • Locate Microsoft Cloud Identity Service, right-click it, and select Restart.

    • Reopen Onedrive and try signing in again.

I’m eager to hear back and work together to find a solution.

    Thanks.

It seems like the AADClient isn't working, which facilitates the sign-in into Windows.

Can you try this: In Windows Search, type in PowerShell, right-click on it, and then choose Run as administrator. Run:

    Get-AppxPackage *Microsoft.AAD.BrokerPlugin* | Reset-AppxPackage

Also in an elevated CMD the following:

    RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl,ResetIEtoDefaults

    Good luck!
