    Hi @Rebecca Abella,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concern regarding the ability to use both languages in new Outlook.

I understand why you would want to use both English and Spanish at the same time in the new Outlook, especially if you regularly work in more than one language. At the moment, however, the new Outlook only supports using one display and authoring language at a time. When you add or switch to another language, it replaces the existing one rather than allowing multiple languages to be used simultaneously. This behavior is by design and is a current limitation of the product.

As a forum moderator, I hope you understand that I don’t have the ability to modify or escalate product issues directly. However, I strongly recommend submitting your feedback through the Outlook (new) · Community portal. This is the most effective way to ensure your voice reaches the product team and can be considered for future improvements.

In new Outlook for Windows, language settings (including additional languages) are managed from the Outlook settings:

    1. At the top of the Outlook window, select Settings (gear icon).
    2. Select General > Language and time.
    3. In the Language (Country/Region) field, choose the language to add/use from the list.
    4. Select Save.

If the New Outlook steps do not match what is seen, the classic Outlook interface may still be in use. In that case, additional languages (display, authoring, and proofing) are added via File > Options > Language under Set the Office Language Preferences.
