I had an activated Windows 11 Pro digital license linked to my Microsoft account.

I reinstalled Windows Home and changed the edition to Pro again.

Now activation fails with error 0xC0EA000A (CLiP license device ID mismatch).

The old device entry was removed from my Microsoft account devices.

Please rebind my Windows 11 Pro digital license to this device.

    Hello

Was the Pro license purchased from Microsoft, or third party?

IF it is from Microsoft, you actually do not want to remove the old device from your account, it needs it so troubleshooter can run and transfer it from there to new install device name.

Since it has been removed, your only chance is to get Microsoft support to do so for you.

To get help, open the "Get Help" app on your computer (just search for it in the Start menu). or go to https://support.microsoft.com/contactus, Type "Billing" and press Enter. On the next screen, click "Contact support" at the bottom of the page, then choose "Windows" > "Manage my subscription". You’ll then see the option to chat with a Microsoft support agent who has access to your account to help review the issue.
