Minecraft won't open or install

Question

My minecraft would not open, so I tried opening it different ways. that did not work so I uninstalled it and refreshed. now it will not let me reinstall it. I tried from the minecraft website and from the microsoft store and that did not work either. HOW DO GET ON MINECRAFT.

Follow these steps on Windows 10 to fix Minecraft not opening or reinstalling from Microsoft Store:

1. Reset the Microsoft Store cache
   1. Press Windows key + R.
   2. Type wsreset.exe and select OK.
   3. A blank Command Prompt window opens; after ~10 seconds it closes and Microsoft Store opens automatically.
   4. Try installing Minecraft again from Microsoft Store.

   1. Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for updates.
   2. Install any available updates.
   3. Restart the PC, then try to install Minecraft again.
3. Check reasons the app might not install or appear If Minecraft still does not show an Install button or will not install, check:
   1. Country/region: Minecraft might not be available in the current region.
   2. Family settings: If using a child account, Microsoft family settings may block the game. Sign in with the correct account and review family restrictions.
