I have contacted my internet service provider and they have said that everything is good on their end and it is an Outlook issue. Please advise.

Hi Susie, can you please check that IMAP is enabled in Gmail at https://mail.google.comunder Settings → Forwarding and POP/IMAP. If you use two-step verification, create an app password at https://myaccount.google.com/apppasswords

and use it in Outlook. Then remove and re-add your Gmail account in Outlook using the app password or OAuth sign-in. Also ensure your internet connection is active and no firewall or antivirus is blocking Outlook.

    Hello,

Do you see new messages when you sign in to your mailbox on the web at Outlook.com or Outlook on the web?

    • Sign in through https://outlook.office.com and check if new messages appear. If mail appears there, the Outlook app on your device has a sync issue.

    • Check mailbox storage in Settings, General, Storage. Microsoft blocks new mail when the mailbox reaches the storage limit.

    • Check Junk Email and Other folders. Filters move messages there.

    • Review Inbox rules in Settings, Mail, Rules. A rule might move or delete incoming mail.

    • Look at the Outlook status bar. The status should show Connected. If Outlook shows Working Offline or Disconnected, new mail will not arrive.
