Favorite bar changed without my permission

The favorite bar changed, and I need to get the original favorite bar back.

Please advise how to get it back.

May I ask if you have turned on sync on a different device? If another device still has your old order, turn off sync there immediately. Also, you, or someone else have accidentally pressed " Sort by name " in the favorites manager.

Open Edge

-Click (...) in the top right

-Click Favorites

-In the Favorites panel, click (...)

-Click Open favorites page

-In the Favorites bar area, right-click

You should see Sort by name or UNDO there. If UNDO is there, please tap on to UNDO, and your favorites should go back to before.

Can you please elaborate more on how did your favorites bar changed? Does it now show only icons?

If it did, please open Microsoft Edge

Click the 3 dots (⋯) in the top-right corner

-Click Settings

-Select Appearance on the left

-Find Favorites bar

Set these options:

Show favorites bar - Always

Show icons only on the favorites bar - OFF

If not, can you please elaborate more on how it changed exactly?
