Dear Microsoft Support Team,

I hope you are doing well.

I am writing to request your assistance in recovering my wife’s Outlook account, which she is currently unable to access.

Account details:

• Account owner: [Moderator note: PII removed]

• Email address: [Moderator note: PII removed]@hotmail.com

• Country/Region: [Moderator note: PII removed]

We have already attempted the standard account recovery process through the online form, but unfortunately, we were not successful. We would greatly appreciate your support in verifying the account ownership and restoring access.

If you require any additional information or documents to confirm identity, we are ready to provide them immediately.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

We look forward to your response.

Kind regards,

[Moderator note: PII removed]

    Hello wael alien,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I understand how difficult this must be, especially when you are trying to assist your wife with regaining access to her Outlook account. Situations like this can be particularly stressful when you have already followed the recommended steps without progress.

From what you described, the online account recovery form has already been submitted but did not result in access being restored. At this point, Microsoft Support is best positioned to assist with additional verification and next steps. Contributors on this forum do not have visibility into account ownership records or internal recovery tools, so we are unable to restore access directly.

Since the account belongs to your wife, it is important that she initiates the support request herself or participates in the conversation, as the account owner must be involved during identity verification.

Please follow the steps below to connect with a live chat agent:

1, Visit the Microsoft Support contact page: Contact - Microsoft Support

2, In the search bar provided on the page, type "Account recovery" and press Enter.

3, Click on the "Get Help" button that appears.

4, Scroll down the page until you see and click on the "Contact Support" option.

User's image 5, When prompted to select your product or service, choose "Other Products".

6, For the category, choose "Manage account security".

7, Look for and click on "Chat with a support agent in your web browser".

8, Confirm your personal email when prompted - this is the email Microsoft will use to communicate with you during and after the support session.

9, When connected, clearly explain your situation. Be concise but include all relevant details.

I hope this helps point you and your wife to the right support channel so the account can be reviewed and access can be recovered.
