The main function of Co-Pilot that we desire to know is whether Co-Pilot can extract legal obligation from legislative documents for specific use of bank/credit institution.

If it is possible, we would like to discuss more about this function of Co - Pilot.

Cheers!

    Hi @Lý Trung Hiếu

Copilots can help analyze legislative or regulatory documents, and it is capable of identifying and summarizing obligations written in the text. However, it does not act as a legal expert and cannot provide certified legal interpretation, which means any obligations or summaries produced by Copilot should always be reviewed by qualified legal or compliance professionals.

On the other hand, for my experiences Copilot currently have agent-style capability function that can help you quickly extract important information from documents stored in OneDrive/SharePoint which will makes it much easier to work with long reports, contracts, policies, and other complex files.

Microsoft 365 Copilot is an AI assistant that works with content in Microsoft 365 apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.) and organizational data via Microsoft Graph. It can help summarize, draft, and analyze text, including documents such as legislation, by using large language models and your organization’s data. However, the provided information does not describe or guarantee a specialized, out‑of‑the‑box capability specifically for extracting legal obligations from legislative documents for banking/credit institution compliance.

For detailed product capability discussions or to explore whether Copilot can be configured or extended (for example, via Copilot Studio or other Microsoft 365 extensibility options) to support this legal‑obligation extraction scenario, direct engagement with Microsoft support or sales is required.

To contact Microsoft for a live discussion about Microsoft 365 Copilot for business:

    1. If an organization already uses Microsoft 365:
      • A global or billing admin can sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center.
      • Select Help & Support.
      • Enter a request such as “Discuss Microsoft 365 Copilot capabilities for legal/compliance use cases” and choose Contact support.
      • Select a contact method (phone or email/call back) and provide details so a support or engineering representative can follow up.
    2. For commercial discussions (licensing, roadmap, scenario fit):
      • Use the Contact Support or Contact us options referenced in the Microsoft 365 and Copilot support pages to reach Microsoft support or be routed to the appropriate sales/technical specialist team.

These channels allow arranging a conversation with Microsoft specialists who can review the specific banking/credit‑institution requirements and advise whether and how Microsoft 365 Copilot (and related tools like Copilot Studio) can be used or extended for extracting and managing legal obligations.
