I registered for the AI‑900 certification exam through Pearson VUE. On the exam date, during the mandatory pre‑exam checks, I informed the invigilator that I would be taking the exam from my office. I showed the surroundings for verification, and the invigilator confirmed that the environment was acceptable and allowed me to begin the exam.
Approximately 20 minutes into the exam, a person briefly passed behind me in the office. Following this, the invigilator unexpectedly stopped and terminated my exam.
If taking the exam from an office location was not permitted, this should have been communicated prior to enabling the exam window. Since the environment was explicitly approved before the exam began, terminating the exam midway was unexpected and beyond my control.
I contacted Pearson VUE to explain the situation and was advised to reschedule the exam. I requested confirmation on whether rescheduling could be done using the same payment, as I was unable to complete the exam due to this interruption. However, I was advised to reach out to Microsoft Support for further assistance.
I kindly request your support in reviewing this case and advising on the possibility of rescheduling the exam without an additional fee.
