Microsoft Rewards suspensions and reinstatements are handled only by the Rewards support and safety systems; community members and forums cannot directly unsuspend an account or restore points.

To seek reactivation of a suspended Microsoft Rewards account:

    1. Review account and Rewards policies
      • Make sure the account complies with the Microsoft Services Agreement and Rewards account policies. Common violations that can lead to suspension include:
        • Maintaining multiple user accounts.
        • Providing inaccurate account information (false name, incomplete or inaccurate address, nonworking phone number, or false email address).
        • Using VPNs or services to alter the true IP location, or using bots, macros, mobile emulators, or other automated methods to earn points.
        • Trying to earn points from more than one country on the same day.
        • Redeeming points from outside the country where they were earned.
      • Also avoid activities that violate general Microsoft account rules, such as malware, phishing, or spam.
    2. Contact Microsoft Rewards Support
      • Use the Microsoft Rewards support form so the Rewards team can review the account in detail and determine whether it can be reinstated.
      • Go to the Bing Rewards/Microsoft Rewards support page (for example, via the link used in similar cases: https://rewards.bing.com/support).
      • Sign in with the suspended Rewards account.
      • Choose the option related to “Microsoft Rewards account suspended/restricted” (or similar) and submit a detailed description:
        • State that the account was suspended without prior notice.
        • Mention roughly how long the account has been active and the approximate points balance.
        • Clearly state that there was no intentional rule-breaking and that Rewards terms will be followed going forward.
    3. If the Microsoft account itself is locked
      • If sign-in shows that the Microsoft account is locked (for suspicious activity or Terms of Use violations) and there is no Next button:
        • Select the aka.ms/… link shown in the lock message and complete the account reinstatement form.
        • A Microsoft Online Safety support agent will review the request and contact by email. Do not submit multiple forms, as that can slow down processing.
    4. Wait for the investigation result
      • After submitting the Rewards support form (and, if applicable, the account reinstatement form), wait for email responses.
      • If the suspension is confirmed as a policy violation, points may be invalidated and the account may remain suspended.
      • If it was a mistake or a reversible restriction, the Rewards team can remove the restriction and restore earning/redeeming ability.

Going forward, ensure all activity follows the Rewards account policies and general Microsoft account rules to avoid future suspensions.
