Microsoft Rewards suspensions and reinstatements are handled only by the Rewards support and safety systems; community members and forums cannot directly unsuspend an account or restore points.
To seek reactivation of a suspended Microsoft Rewards account:
- Review account and Rewards policies
- Make sure the account complies with the Microsoft Services Agreement and Rewards account policies. Common violations that can lead to suspension include:
- Maintaining multiple user accounts.
- Providing inaccurate account information (false name, incomplete or inaccurate address, nonworking phone number, or false email address).
- Using VPNs or services to alter the true IP location, or using bots, macros, mobile emulators, or other automated methods to earn points.
- Trying to earn points from more than one country on the same day.
- Redeeming points from outside the country where they were earned.
- Also avoid activities that violate general Microsoft account rules, such as malware, phishing, or spam.
- Make sure the account complies with the Microsoft Services Agreement and Rewards account policies. Common violations that can lead to suspension include:
- Contact Microsoft Rewards Support
- Use the Microsoft Rewards support form so the Rewards team can review the account in detail and determine whether it can be reinstated.
- Go to the Bing Rewards/Microsoft Rewards support page (for example, via the link used in similar cases:
https://rewards.bing.com/support). - Sign in with the suspended Rewards account.
- Choose the option related to “Microsoft Rewards account suspended/restricted” (or similar) and submit a detailed description:
- State that the account was suspended without prior notice.
- Mention roughly how long the account has been active and the approximate points balance.
- Clearly state that there was no intentional rule-breaking and that Rewards terms will be followed going forward.

- Wait for the investigation result
- After submitting the Rewards support form (and, if applicable, the account reinstatement form), wait for email responses.
- If the suspension is confirmed as a policy violation, points may be invalidated and the account may remain suspended.
- If it was a mistake or a reversible restriction, the Rewards team can remove the restriction and restore earning/redeeming ability.
Going forward, ensure all activity follows the Rewards account policies and general Microsoft account rules to avoid future suspensions.
