Certification of Tax Residence documents for Microsoft entities are not publicly available and must be obtained directly from Microsoft through official support channels.
For Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited and Microsoft Regional Sales entities, commonly requested tax forms and Certificates of Tax Residence are published for recent years and can be downloaded from the “Set up common tax forms” section in Partner Center billing documentation. However, for a Certification of Tax Residence specifically for the Microsoft entity for Poland and for a specific tax year (such as 2025), an official request to Microsoft support or billing is required.
To obtain the certificate for the Polish Microsoft entity for 2025:
- Submit an official support/service request through the appropriate Microsoft admin or support portal for the product or agreement under which payments are made (for example, Microsoft 365 for business via the Microsoft 365 admin center, or Partner Center if acting as a partner).
- In the request, specify:
- That a Certification of Tax Residence is required.
- The Microsoft contracting entity (Poland) and the tax year 2025.
- That the document is needed for application of a Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement and reduced withholding tax.
- Ask explicitly for a digital PDF copy of the certificate to be provided via the support case.
If access to Partner Center is available and Microsoft is being set up as a vendor in an Accounts Payable system, review the “Set up common tax forms” section to see if the required tax residency certificate for the relevant Microsoft entity and year is already published there; if not, proceed with a support ticket as above.
In community scenarios, moderators indicate that Tax Residence Certificates for specific years are shared privately (for example, via private message or through a billing engineer after a ticket is opened), reinforcing that an official support request is the correct path.
