Compromised Email account blackmail

Last Saturday I discovered my email had been compromised, all my emails had been deleted. It seems whoever hacked it was sending me blackmail for bitcoin in drafts alongside new emails. When I finally entered my email it was in Vietnamese and someone had used mozilla thunderbird to enter my account. Ive upped my security but ive lost all my emails (over 10 years worth). The only ones in deleted items were over 300 blackmail emails. how can I get my historic email back? Ive sorted forwarding and rules.

    I understand you’ve already checked for message rules so you can skip the first part of this suggestion if you wish or you can double check the settings:

    Check to see if there are any message rules enabled which are forwarding emails to another address.

    Outlook via the web:

    Click the cog icon>Email>Rules.
