    Hi Rik Gambia,

I understand how frustrating this must be, especially since Sweet Home 3D works normally on Windows 10 but starts showing screen jumping and duplicated menus on Windows 11.

From what you’ve described, the issue appears to be related to how the app is rendering its interface on your system. I can see that Q&A Assist has already shared the initial guidance, so I’ll summarize the most relevant steps here for clarity and then add a couple of additional things to try:

Step 1: Check whether the issue affects only Sweet Home 3D

When the screen starts jumping or menus appear duplicated, please open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc.

    • If Task Manager looks normal while Sweet Home 3D continues to flicker, this suggests the issue is limited to how the app is rendering its interface.
    • If Task Manager also flickers or redraws incorrectly, this points more toward a graphics driver or system‑level display issue.

Step 2: Reset the graphics driver

While logged into Windows, press Windows + Ctrl + Shift + B once. Your screen may briefly go black or flicker and this is expected. Once the display returns, reopen Sweet Home 3D and check whether the behavior improves.

Step 3: Force Sweet Home 3D to use the NVIDIA graphics card

This helps prevent Windows from switching rendering paths while the app is running.

    • Open Settings > System > Display > Graphics
    • Add Sweet Home 3D to the list if it isn’t already there
    • Set it to High performance (NVIDIA GPU)
    • Close and reopen the application

Step 4: Review the NVIDIA driver version

If you’re using the latest driver, consider testing an earlier driver version, then restart Windows. After changing the driver, restart Windows before testing again.

Please let me know how it goes after trying these steps.

Screen flickering, jumping, or duplicated UI elements in Windows 11 is typically caused either by the display driver or by an incompatible app.

    Follow these steps in order:

    1. Reset the graphics driver
      • Press Windows logo key + Ctrl + Shift + B once.
      • The screen will briefly go black and you should hear a beep. Then test Sweet Home 3D again.
      • If the issue persists, restart the PC and test again.
    2. Check whether it is the driver or the app
      • Start Sweet Home 3D so the problem appears.
      • Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete, then choose Task Manager (or press Ctrl + Shift + Esc).
      • Observe:
        • If Task Manager also flickers/jumps together with the rest of the screen, the display driver is likely the cause.
        • If Task Manager is stable while Sweet Home 3D’s window flickers or shows double menus, Sweet Home 3D is likely incompatible with the current graphics/Windows 11 setup.
    3. If Task Manager flickers → fix the display driver
      • Update, roll back, or reinstall the NVIDIA RTX 4060 driver using the latest Windows 11–supported version from the GPU manufacturer.
      • After changing the driver, restart Windows and test Sweet Home 3D again.
    4. If Task Manager does not flicker → treat Sweet Home 3D as an incompatible app
      • Make sure Sweet Home 3D is fully up to date (latest version that supports Windows 11).
      • If installed from Microsoft Store, update it via Microsoft Store as described in “Update an app”.
      • If installed from outside Microsoft Store, download and install the latest version from the app’s publisher.
      • If updating does not help, uninstall Sweet Home 3D, restart Windows, then reinstall it.

If none of the above resolves the issue, test Sweet Home 3D with the NVIDIA driver temporarily rolled back to an earlier version known to work on Windows 10 (if available for Windows 11), or contact the app developer to confirm Windows 11/RTX 4060 compatibility.
