    Hi @Designtek Solutions,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Could you please provide me with the following information?

    • Have you already added this domain to any tenant?
    • If so, please let me know whether you are able to access the Admin Center.
    • If you are unable to access it, could you please share the error message that is being displayed?

Additionally, I would like to provide the following information:

    • For Microsoft tenants, the administrator (admin) role is typically managed by the organization’s IT department.
    • If you do not have administrator permissions, you may contact your IT department or the relevant team within your organization to request admin access for your account.

Based on the information you have provided, I will be able to share the most accurate and effective guidance with you.

I look forward to receiving your response.

To get admin-level access for a Microsoft 365 domain that is already associated with an unmanaged (“shadow”) tenant, perform an internal admin takeover. This lets the domain owner become the administrator for that Microsoft 365/Entra ID tenant.

    Follow these steps:

    1. Verify email address using the domain
      1. Go to the Power BI site.
      2. Select Start Free > Start free trial.
      3. Sign up with an email address on the domain that needs admin control (for example, ******@yourdomain.com).
      4. If the account already exists, sign in with its password instead of creating a new one.
      5. When a verification code is sent to that email, enter the code to validate the address.
    2. Create a new account for admin access
      1. After entering the verification code, a page appears to create a new account.
      2. Fill in the username and password fields for the account that will be used as the admin.
      3. Complete the account creation.
    3. Run the admin takeover wizard and prove domain ownership
      1. After the account is created, select the admin center icon in the left navigation, or browse to https://admin.cloud.microsoft and sign in with the new account.
      2. The admin takeover wizard opens automatically.
      3. Select Next and follow the prompts to verify ownership of the domain:
        • Add the TXT DNS record provided by the wizard at the domain registrar.
        • Use the registrar link and step-by-step instructions provided in the wizard if needed.
      4. After the TXT record is added and detected, the wizard confirms ownership.
      5. On the You’re now the admin page, select Go to the admin center.

Once this is complete, the account created in step 2 has admin privileges for that Microsoft 365 tenant and domain. From the Microsoft 365 admin center, it is then possible to manage users, groups, subscriptions, and domains.

If the goal is to move the domain to a different tenant after taking control, first complete the internal admin takeover, then follow the documented process to remove the domain from that tenant so it can be added elsewhere.
