Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hi, I'm John!
Disclaimer: Microsoft Q&A is public, and we can only provide information. It is beyond our capability to assist directly with billing-related issues.
Please know that if AmEx reversed one charge, Microsoft may still see that as unpaid, which can trigger another billing attempt.
To help narrow down the issue:
Confirm your subscription status:
- Go to: https://account.microsoft.com/services
- Check: Expiration date, Next billing date, and Price shown
Check if you have duplicate subscriptions:
- Sometimes this happens if: You subscribed twice (PayPal + direct card), Or created a second Microsoft account.
- Do you see more than one Microsoft 365 subscription listed there?
Check payment methods:
- Go to: https://account.microsoft.com/billing/payments
- Look for: PayPal listed more than once, or any old/unused payment methods
About the April charge:
- If your renewal shows April, it means Microsoft still sees an active auto-renew schedule, even if February was charged
- What does it show exactly for “Next charge” on your account?
