Hi, it is a common problem. You just need to run an Office Repair> Repair an Office application

Hi! Let me help you with this issue.

Does it also happen on a blank Word document?

The behavior described matches a known issue where Word repeatedly reports a problem and “Repair now” does not fix it. The recommended fix is to repair the Office installation itself rather than the individual document.

    Follow these steps on Windows:

    1. Close all Office apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
    2. Open Settings.
    3. Go to System (or Apps depending on Windows version) → AppsInstalled apps.
    4. Find Microsoft Office (or Microsoft 365 Apps), select it, and choose Modify.
    5. Select Online Repair (this is more thorough than Quick Repair), then choose Repair and let it complete.
    6. When the repair finishes, restart the computer.
    7. Open Word again and try opening the same document from both local disk and cloud.

If the problem persists after an Online Repair, completely uninstall Office, restart the PC (not just shut down), then reinstall Office from the Microsoft account services page associated with the subscription, and test again.
