My colleague has an Apple mobile phone. We have a series of Quizes on Forms for the trainer to observe once learners have completed.

Since moving the forms app to MS copilot she can no longer access the app as the app icon does not show up.

There is no app to download as you have removed this

We go via the Web route office.com and it redirects her straight in to ms co pilot again. She needs to access the Web app on her phone whilst showing the qr code on her screen for learners to access can you confirm how we resolve this issue.

    Dear @Carren Bell,

    I hope you’re having a good day.

Based on my research, Microsoft Forms is no longer available as a standalone mobile app on iOS. Forms is now designed to be accessed either through a web browser or via direct links, rather than from within the Microsoft 365 or Copilot mobile app interface. On iOS, accessing Forms through office.com will automatically redirect to the Microsoft 365 Copilot experience. This is expected behavior and cannot be changed.

I’ve tested this behavior in my own environment and also checked with a few colleagues. When a Form is created and the share link or QR code is sent via Microsoft Teams or Outlook, opening that link on a mobile device redirects directly to the Forms web page in the browser. After signing in, the form can be viewed and completed directly on the web without needing a separate Forms app.

To access Forms on an iPhone and display the QR code, please open Forms using a direct URL, such as https://forms.office.com or the specific form link/QR code itself, in Safari. This will open the full Forms web interface where the QR code and live responses can be viewed normally.
To better understand and support your specific scenario, could you please try accessing the same Form from another device or phone and let me know whether it behaves as described above? If possible, a screenshot showing where the redirection occurs or what you see on the screen would also be very helpful.

This information will help clarify whether the behavior is consistent or device‑specific and allow me to better understand what might be blocking the expected experience in your case. Please let me know the results, and I’ll be more than happy to continue assisting you.

Looking forward to hearing back from you with any updates or additional details.

    Warm regards,

Microsoft Forms is available on mobile without a separate app. Forms can be opened and used in a mobile browser on iOS.

To access Forms on an Apple mobile phone without being forced into Microsoft Copilot, use a direct Forms URL in the browser instead of going through the generic Microsoft 365 landing page:

    1. In Safari or another browser on the phone, enter or bookmark the direct Forms URL (for example, the organization’s Forms URL or the specific form/quiz URL) instead of going to office.com.
    2. Open the trainer’s quiz or form directly from that URL so the QR code can be displayed on screen for learners.
    3. Learners can scan the QR code with their own devices and complete the quiz in their browsers.

If screen reader or accessibility support is needed on iOS while using Forms in Safari, use the guidance in the “Screen reader support for Microsoft Forms” articles for iOS.
