My problem is age, 92 and not understanding the squiggles above. I have asked for some to talk me through getting my folders open to find my next medical appointment. Clearly you don't do this as you used to. My wife is in hospital and I have wasted hours on this. Please call me and talk me through what needs to be done. (PII removed).

Phone support cannot be provided here, but there are Microsoft support options that can talk through issues step by step.

For help from a person by phone or chat, use one of these options:

    1. For general Microsoft account, Outlook.com, or folder issues online:
      • Go to the Outlook.com help area and select Help on the menu bar, then follow the prompts to contact support. If self-help does not solve the problem, scroll to Still need help? and choose Yes to reach support.
    2. To speak with a support agent about Microsoft products in general:
      • Use the Microsoft Support site and follow the Contact Support path. Choose the product (for example, Windows) and then choose a support option such as chat or call-back where available.
    3. If accessibility, age, or vision makes using the computer difficult:
      • Contact the Microsoft Disability Answer Desk for technical assistance. The team is trained to work with assistive technologies and can help in English, Spanish, French, and American Sign Language. There is also an enterprise Disability Answer Desk for government, commercial, or enterprise users.

If folders are in Outlook.com (email) and not visible or renamed, Outlook.com support can be reached from within Outlook.com by selecting Help and then using Still need help? to contact support after signing in.

For urgent medical information, it is also recommended to contact the medical provider directly by phone to confirm the appointment while working with Microsoft support to restore access to folders.
