How to regain access to edit documents after not paying license for months.

Question

I forgot to pay my license for Microsoft for 2 months and now I can only visualize my documents. Its been 48 hours since I renewed my Microsoft 365 license but the permission to edit has not return. I have also tried to put the payment on automatic but without success.
