Hey, my Microsoft program is stating that it stopped supporting Windows 10. That's fine my computer is and has been updated to windows 11 when it came out. Why can't I still use my Microsoft?

What Microsoft program are you experiencing problems with, is that Microsoft Office or a subscription to Microsoft 365.

Please provide a screenshot of any error you may be seeing.

If that is an Office licence or subscription, what version of Office is that, and if you log into your Microsoft account on this link, do you find your Microsoft Office licence or subscription listed there.

The message is about Windows 10 support ending, not about blocking use of Microsoft products.

    Key points:

    1. End of support vs. usability
      • When a Windows version reaches end of support, Microsoft stops providing:
        • Technical support
        • Software updates
        • Security updates or fixes
      • Devices running an unsupported version of Windows will still function, but are at greater risk for viruses and malware.
      • This message is informational and does not prevent using Microsoft apps or Windows itself.
    2. Why the message appears
      • Notifications about Windows 10 end of support are broadly shown to help users move to a supported version.
      • If the device is already on Windows 11, the message may be from:
        • A Microsoft app or website describing Windows 10 end of support in general.
        • Documentation or support pages that mention Windows 10 support ending.
    3. Using Windows 11 and Microsoft apps
      • Windows 11 is the current supported version of Windows.
      • Windows 10 support has ended on October 14, 2025; Microsoft recommends moving to Windows 11, which is already in place on the device.
      • Microsoft apps and services continue to work on Windows 11 as long as the device is supported and up to date.

If the device is confirmed to be on Windows 11 and fully updated, the message can be treated as a general notice about Windows 10 rather than a restriction on using Microsoft.
