Hi LisaSigona-1692,
Please note that our forum is a public platform, and we will modify your question to hide your personal information in the description. Kindly ensure that you hide any personal or organizational information the next time you post an error or other details to protect personal data.
I understand how concerning it is to see a large charge for something you didn’t intend to buy or use. Your request for refund is totally reasonable. However, I need to clarify so expectations are clear:
Microsoft Q&A is just a public peer-to-peer forum, limited to providing technical support. Payment-related issues often involve privacy information, and we do not have access to such sensitive data and cannot process refunds and subscription. Here's the suggested path in your situation:
- Sign in to your Microsoft account at https://account.microsoft.com/services
- If Lifetime AnyScan ISP appears in the list, select Cancel subscription
- In the same page, go to Orders History > Request a refund
- If the option is not available, you must contact Microsoft Store Support:
- Visit Contact Us - Microsoft Support > Sign in
- Type in your problem > click Get Help to make request
- Scroll to the bottom and click Contact Support to connect to agent
- Select category again > click Next and you should be added to a chat queue
Note: The support contact team only works at certain times, so if the last window shows that it's unavailable, try opening it again the next day. If you prefer phone support, you can leave a phone number. This way, they can call you and help you.
You’re right to request refunds over an app you don't use. It just needs to be handled by the correct support channel, not here in a public forum for technical issues.
