    Hello

What license did you purchase? Is it Home, or Pro edition, or upgrade from Home to Pro?

What edition do you have installed now?

Can you please type cmd in the search on the taskbar and hit enter to launch command prompt, then run the following command:

    slmgr /dlv

Then share a screenshot please. Thanks!

Error 0xC004F050 means the product key cannot be used to activate Windows.

For a newly purchased digital license, the following are the supported steps and checks:

    1. Confirm the key is valid and correctly entered
      • Error 0xC004F050 is raised when the product key is invalid or not accepted by the activation service.
      • Carefully re-enter the 25-character product key from the Microsoft purchase confirmation (avoid mixing 0/O and 1/I, etc.).
      • If the key was for a different Windows edition than what is installed (for example, key is for Pro but device is running Home), change the edition first using the correct upgrade path, then re-enter the key.
    2. Try activation again from Settings
      • Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Activation.
      • Select Change product key, enter the purchased key, and follow the prompts.
    3. If the error persists, possible causes and actions
      • The key cannot be used to activate this installation (for example, blocked, wrong edition, or otherwise invalid). In this case, Windows reports 0xC004F050 and will not activate with that key.
      • Activation servers may be temporarily busy. Wait a while and select Activate again from the Activation page.
      • If Windows was upgraded previously using a free upgrade offer and then reinstalled or hardware was changed, activation might fail and require support intervention.
    4. When to contact Microsoft support
      • If the key was purchased directly from Microsoft and still produces 0xC004F050 after re-entering it in Settings > Activation > Change product key, contact Microsoft customer support so they can check the key status and assist with activation.

If none of the above resolves the issue, the documented resolution path for persistent 0xC004F050 with a purchased key is to obtain a different valid product key or work with Microsoft support to correct the license/activation state.
