Outlook not working online

Outlook is working offline and toggle icon will not switch to online.

    Thanks for posting. From what you shared, I understand Outlook is currently stuck in “Working Offline” mode and is not switching back to online.

    To let me guide you better, could you let me know:

    • Are you using classic Outlook for Windows, new Outlook, or Outlook on the web? You can see: What version of Outlook do I have?
    • Are you signed in with a personal Microsoft account (ends with @outlook.com, @hotmail.com, or @live.com)?

    While we confirm the Outlook version, please try accessing your mailbox via Outlook on the web: https://outlook.live.com

    If your email works correctly there, it confirms that:

    • Your account itself is accessible, and
    • The issue is likely limited to the local Outlook app rather than the mailbox.

    This is a temporary workaround to avoid missing emails while we troubleshoot further.
